Description: You will be supporting a team that has been working in the city for many years. Teams will help prayer walk, help develop local leaders, care for the family serving there, and help with local outreach.
Travel Time: 40 to 46 hours one way
Climate: Warm and humid year-round - Rain is fairly evenly spread, though heavier March–April and October–November
- Average highs: 88–91°F (humid and periodic rain)
- Average lows: 73–75°F
Settings: Large city and small village
Comfort: Teams stay in hotels or guest houses. Air condition may be provided but will not be what you are used to. Teams may stay outside of the city and have to sleep on the floor. Bathrooms may have squatty potties.
Physical: While this location may not require as much walking, you will be out in the heat quite a bit and most areas will not have air condition.

It’s a tapestry of faiths, arts, foods, and customs that make the island stand out in Indonesia.
